The original work is currently being published in a new edition with major revisions by Kadokawa Bunko, so be sure to check it out as well.

Following "Hanasaku Iroha" and "Shirobako," P.A. WORKS' third "work series" is about a rural tourism association. The "mini-independent country" that boomed nationwide during the bubble era (1980s)...... is set in Manoyama City, a desolate and regrettable tourist town that still maintains such a mini-independent country, where the main character Yuno Kiharu, who has been appointed as the king (tourism ambassador), and others are working in a rural tourism association. This work, which depicts the struggles and growth of the five girls, including the main character Yuno Kiharu, who has been appointed as the king (tourism ambassador), is expected to attract the same attention from anime fans as the previous two works.

This "clockwork fantasy" takes place on a planet that was destroyed 1,000 years ago and reconstructed as "Clockwork Planet" by a clockworker named "Y."
