Sunrise Yarate Bunko launches a new "Absolute Invincible Raijin-O" novel on April 18!

A new "Absolutely Invincible Raijin-O" novel will start on April 18 on "Yarate Bunko," a website operated by Sunrise.

Sunrise, an animation production company known for many hit works such as "Mobile Suit Gundam," has been operating the website "Yarate Bunko" since 2016. The concept is to publish a wide variety of projects that have been lying dormant within the company, and currently includes "Armored Trooper Votoms: Gorgeous Funeral Row" by director Ryosuke Takahashi and "The High King of the World: Gaogaigar vs. Better Man" by Yuichiro Takeda.

It was announced that a new novel based on the TV anime "Absolute Invincible Raijin-O," which was broadcast in 1991, will be serialized in Yarate Bunko from April 18, 2011. Absolute Invincible Raijin-O" is the first work in the "Eldoran" series produced by Sunrise, and is a robot animation depicting elementary school students who are entrusted with a giant robot to fight against the "Jerk Empire," an evil army. The novel was written by the author, who was also in charge of series composition and scriptwriting.
The novel is written by Hideki Sonoda, who also wrote and composed the series, and the key visuals by Kei Takeuchi (character illustrations) and Takahiro Yamada (mechanical illustrations) have also been announced. A preview page ( # ) has also been opened, so be sure to check it out.
