The popular four-frame manga "POPTEPIC" will be adapted into an anime.
POPTEPIC" is a four-frame manga written by Bukubu Okawa that has been distributed on Takeshobo's four-frame web comic distribution site "Manga Life WIN" since November 2014. Since its serialization, the manga has been a hot topic of conversation on the Internet as a "shitty manga" due to its chaotic content, and it continues to gain momentum with LINE stamps, goods, and an original store "POPTEPIC PICKUP SHOP" open for a limited time only. The anime of this work is scheduled to be broadcast from October 2017.
On April Fool's Day, April 1, on the site that announced the anime adaptation of "Hoshi-iro Girl Drop," also written by Bukubu Okawa, "It's me! and an animated video of Popuko revealing her true identity. In fact, it was announced that the anime adaptation of "POPTEPIC" was the correct news (as fans who had read the second season from the beginning would have already guessed).
And now, finally, the key visual has been officially revealed. POPUKO and PIPIMI, who have often been in a bone-fighting battle with TAKESHOBO in their works, are again showing a disturbing atmosphere with the catchphrase "Remember, TAKESHOBO".
The animation will be produced by Kamikaze Animation, which has produced the opening images for "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" Parts 1, 2, and 3, the ending image for "Sword Dance: Hanamaru," and the feature-length anime "COCOLORS.
