Platz to Release 1/72 Finished "Galpan" Tanks! New Series "Tenohira Tank Collection" to be Released in April

In April 2017, Platz will launch the "Tenohira Tank Road Collection," a new series of 1/72 scale painted and finished reproductions of tanks that appear in "Girls und Panzer.

The TV anime "Girls und Panzer" (Galpan), set in a world where the martial art of tanks, "Chariot Road," is considered the custom of Yamato Nadeshiko, has become very popular as it depicts girls deepening their bonds through chariot matches. The "Tenohira Chariot Road Collection" (or "Tenohira Collection") is a 1/72 scale reproduction of the tanks that appear in the series.

The first and second items in the "Tenokore" lineup will be the two types of Tank IV above in April 2017. As is typical of Platz, which has released many "Galpin" plastic models in the past, the shape and details of the vehicle body, as well as the painting of tools and other details, and even the markings, have been reproduced exactly as they appeared in the anime. It is recommended for fans who are not good at assembling and painting plastic models, and advanced users may also enjoy weathering the model.

They are 1/72 scale, priced at 4,400 yen each (tax not included), and will be released in April 2017, so don't miss out.
