Super-fast gag anime "Teikyu", 9th season to start airing in summer 2017! Comics Volume 13 will be released on April 12!

The ninth season of the TV anime "Teikyu" will begin airing in the summer of 2017.

The "Teikyu" is a popular gag manga by Roots (original story) and Piyo (artwork) serialized in "Comic Earth Star." Set in the Kameido High School Tennis Club, it is a "tennis manga that hardly plays tennis" that depicts the heartrending daily lives of the unique characters. The first season of the TV anime started in 2012 and became a hot topic for its high-tension and chaotic content as a "super-fast gag anime that talks too fast.

It has now been announced that the ninth season of this popular series will begin airing in the summer of 2017. The director, script, direction, and character design will be the same as before, Shin Itagaki, and the broadcast start date and stations will be announced in the future.
