Full CG animated film "Resident Evil: Vendetta" unleashes the anti-Bio-terrorism unit: BSAA members who fight alongside Chris & Leon!

From the full CG animated film "Resident Evil: Vendetta," which will be released on May 27, 2017, the members of the BSAA, an anti-bioterrorism unit that confronts bioterrorism incidents along with Chris and Leon, whoare also well known from the game, have been released.

Resident Evil: Vendetta" is a full CG animated feature film based on the world of the popular survival horror game series "Resident Evil" which has sold over 72 million copies.

The film features the world of "Resident Evil" depicted with high quality CG technology and unpredictable battles between popular characters from the series and new characters original to the film. Executive producer is Takashi Shimizu of "Ju-On" series, director is Takanori Tsujimoto of "THE NEXT GENERATION PATLABOR" and screenplay is by Makoto Fukami of "PSYCHO-PASS".

What is BSAA?
Abbreviation for Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance, an anti-bioterrorism unit. The BSAA was established by the Pharmaceutical Industry Alliance, which feared that it would be blamed for the release of B.O.W. (biological weapons) after the collapse of the Umbrella Corporation. Initially, the B.O.W. was only an observer unit from the private sector, but as the threat of bio-terrorism grew stronger by the day, it was reorganized as an operational special unit under the jurisdiction of the United Nations.
