On Sunday, April 9, 2017, the "Osomatsu-san Spring National Great Senbatsu Screening Festival" stage greeting was held, and director Yoichi Fujita took the stage with the Matsuno family's six children and Iyami.

Osomatsu-san" is an original anime created to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the late Fujio Akatsuka's birth.
Based on "Osomatsu-kun," a gag comic published by Fujio Akatsuka in "Weekly Shōnen Sunday" in 1962 that became an explosive hit, "Osomatsu-san" depicts a future where the six children have grown up. The series became a popular title for its aggressive gags and parodies, the portrayal of the six children's diverse personalities, and the use of popular male voice actors.
Starting Friday, April 7, 2017, a selection of episodes from each of the six children will be shown from the TV anime series, including the "Osomatsu Club Room" and "Karamatsu Room. On April 9, the "Osomatsu-san Spring Festival" was held at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku Screen 7, and many fans came to see the event.

On April 9 (Sun.), in commemoration of the second season of the TV anime "Osomatsu-san," "Osomatsu-san Spring Festival" was held at TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku, Screen 7, which has been in theaters nationwide since April 7 (Fri.).

The "Osomatsu-san Spring All-Japan Grand Senbatsu Screening Festival" is an original theatrical version that includes selected episodes of each of the six children from the first TV anime series, some episodes from the anime special program "Osomatsu-san Ohmeko Nanashi" and a new short episode as a common episode.
The decision to air the second season was announced in the new short episode on April 6 (Thu), after advance screenings were held in six major cities across Japan.

Today's stage greeting featured Yoichi Fujita, director of the TV anime "Osomatsu-san," and the Matsuno family's six children and Iyami on stage for the first time.
When the director and the six children appeared on stage to the call of the MC, there were yellow cheers from the theater.
Director Fujita began his speech by saying, "I am happy to announce the second season of Osomatsu-san. It is thanks to all of you." When he expressed his gratitude, the packed hall erupted in applause.
The six children also welcomed the audience with a flip of "Thank you for coming today! and welcomed the audience with a flip of "Thank you very much for coming today!

When asked about his memories of the first season of the TV anime, he again expressed his gratitude to the fans, saying, "I did as much as I could, but I'm very thankful that everyone followed me.

During the photo session for the media, the audience applauded in unison when the six children and Iyami held up flips with the message "Please support us in the second season" on them.
The tension rose and the six children flirted with each other so innocently that the director even chuckled, saying, "These guys really don't listen to me (laughs).

Finally, Director Fujita commented, "It's nice to see the faces of the audience once in a while.
I would like to continue to depict the silly daily lives of the Matsuno family, so please give me your support." Director Fujita left the stage to loud applause.
The audience's voltage was at its highest during this rare opportunity to take pictures of the six children and Iyami, who are so popular with the audience.
