To commemorate its release, Akiba Research Institute has been conducting a series of interviews with the cast members participating in the CD!　This final installment features Natsumi Takamori, who plays Fuyune Kamikura, a young lady who has discovered the charm of bicycles. ─ What are the highlights of the song?

Takamori: I like the lyric "Wait a minute, what's that? I feel that character songs often have monologue-like lyrics, but here it really sounds like Fuyune is speaking as she is, and I think it is sung in a way that is quite like dialogue.

─ ─ Are there any particular points in singing as Fuyune?

Takamori: When I sing as Fuyune, the thing I am most conscious of is to sing strongly. I have felt this from the time I was practicing, and if I sing brightly and prettily, I get further and further away from Fuyune. Fuyune is also a character with no back and forth in the anime, and is equal to everyone. She is more of a commoner, but she is a young lady with a good upbringing.

──If you were to make an animated film of this song, how would you imagine it?

Takamori: I think I was given the song for "winter" because I am "Fuyune," but the anime starts in spring and doesn't end until winter. So, if you make a video of the song, I would like you to use it as background music for the scene where everyone is riding bicycles in Kamakura in the winter. I hope the anime will continue until the winter episodes (laughs).

───What did you think of singing the opening theme "Bicycle ni Hana wa Maiwu"?

Takamori: I didn't expect to be asked to sing the opening theme, so I felt like "Yay! I like the piquant part of the intro. Maybe it's because I sang a winter song this time, but "Bicycle ni Hana ha Maiwau" sounds like spring, like "It's starting now! I felt it was a very vivid song with an image of "It's starting now! Also, AoP sings as a group, and it was a strange feeling for me to sing it with Higa Natsumi. But I enjoyed singing the song while imagining the images of the anime. Natsumi Higa, who sang with me, balances out the members of the Bicycle Club in terms of the height of her voice at a lower level, so I can't imagine how it will turn out when she sings with me as a set. However, Natsumi Fujiwara (who plays Natsumi Higa) sang very cool, so I am looking forward to seeing the finished product.

─ Do you have any bicycle episodes yourself?

Takamori: When I was in junior high school, I lost my bicycle key when I went out to play, and the next day I went to retrieve it with a spare key. But then, what did I think? I rode another bicycle to retrieve it (laughs). (Laughs.) "Oh, my God! (laughs). But I was full of energy at the time, so I pushed the other bike home while holding it with one hand. That was a bicycle episode in my prime (laughs). I couldn't do that now.

─ ─ Finally, do you have any comments for our readers?

Takamori: Actually, I never thought I would be asked to sing a character song for the "Minamikamakura High School Girls Bicycle Club," so I feel lucky, or rather, "Are you sure? I feel like. As for me personally, I have never played the role of a genuine young lady, so it was a rare opportunity to sing as a character. Also, the songs are very beautiful, so I hope you will listen to them a lot. There are songs for spring, summer, fall, and winter, so you can enjoy it in many different ways, like listening to spring songs on ...... in the spring. Fuyune's song is very energetic, and "Bicycle Flowers Dancing" is a good song that is positive, really colorful, and full of hope for the future. You can't listen to the song while riding a bike, so listen to it over and over while pedaling an air bike at the gym or something!
