A talk event on the theatrical anime "Space Battleship Yamato 2202: Warriors of Love" was held on Sunday, March 26, 2017, at the "AnimeJapan 2017" Open Stage. This work is a sequel to the hit "Space Battleship Yamato 2199," which is a remake of a milestone in science fiction animation, and out of the seven chapters, the first chapter "Pioneer Arc" was screened for two weeks only and was very well received. Daisuke Ono, who plays the main character Susumu Ancient, Nobuyoshi Habara, the director, and Harutoshi Fukui, the series director, took the stage for a light-hearted talk session with behind-the-scenes episodes, facilitated by animation writer Osamu Kobayashi, the MC.
