BLAME!", an anime film to be released on May 20, 2017, and the TV anime "Knights of Sidonia" will be jointly presented.

BLAME!" is an anime work based on the manga serialized from 1997 to 2003 in "Afternoon" (Kodansha) by Tsutomu Nibe, the creator of "Knights of Sidonia. Set in a future where humans are exterminated and eliminated as "illegal residents," the story follows Kirii, a searcher for the "net terminal gene," in a giant "hierarchical city" that continues to multiply without limit. Directed by Hiroyuki Seshimo of "Knights of Sidonia" and "Ajin" fame, and animated by Polygon Pictures, creators of "Knights of Sidonia. Nibei, the author of the original story, is also providing full cooperation and supervision.
