Kirito and Asuna from "Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale" are now available as color resin kits!

Volks will release two color resin kits "Kirito" and "Asuna" from the anime film "Sword Art Online the Movie - Ordinal Scale.

The anime film "Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale" has been in theaters since February 18, 2017. The Volks resin kits featured here are reproductions of Kirito and Asuna from the film, which has been a huge hit both in Japan and overseas. The two figures can be displayed individually, or posed side by side for a more interesting pose.

Kirito" will go on sale at Hobby Round 17 on May 6, 2017 (general sale at a later date) for 9,700 yen (tax not included).

Asuna" will go on sale at Hobby Round 17 on May 6, 2017 (general sale at a later date) for 9,300 yen (tax not included).

The figure is sculpted with attention to detail, including the costume, and appears at a speed only possible with resin kits, so be sure to enjoy the excitement of watching the movie as it was. The photo shown here is a fully painted sample, but the actual product is a "Kyaragumin" color resin kit that only requires assembly and some painting to create a finish close to the image you have in mind.
At Hobby Round 17, where this item will be on sale in advance, there will be a "Kyaragumin Classroom" ( # ) where you can receive instruction on assembly and point painting based on the theme of this kit, so if you are not confident about assembling resin kits, consider participating.

The figures are 1/8 scale (height: approx. 155mm/Kirito, approx. 170mm) and priced at 9,700 yen (tax not included) for Kirito and 9,300 yen (tax not included) for Asuna, and will be available for pre-sale at the "Hobby Round 17" event to be held at Tokyo Big Sight on May 6 ( # ), followed by general sales at Volks stores and mail order at a later date.
