Masterpiece OVA "Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket," first Blu-ray box set with 4K scanning and HD remastering!

Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket", the first OVA in the "Gundam" series, will be released on Blu-ray in a long-awaited boxed set.

The first OVA in the popular "Gundam" series, "Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket" was produced in 1989 and is the first work produced by a director other than Yoshiyuki Tomino, the creator of the "Gundam" series.
This ambitious work depicts the drama of the side that defeats the Gundam, centering on the two main characters, Al, a civilian boy, and Bernie, a new recruit in the Zeon army.

The first Blu-ray box set of this work will be released on Tuesday, August 29, 2017.
In addition to enjoying the beautiful 4K scanned and HD remastered images, the box will also include valuable extras such as a newly recorded audio commentary and a reprint of the novel "Chris ga Mieru Yume" that was originally published as a supplement to the April 1989 issue of Animage Monthly.

A work from a quarter of a century ago is now being released on Blu-ray.
It is a work from the past that I was involved in. I am ashamed. I am embarrassed to death, especially when I was the director of the film.
I want to hit my head on the corner of a tofu block. I could burn the film and act like it never happened, but in reality, it was made with the help of many people, so that's not an option. I'm at a loss. No regrets.
I would like to ask you, the audience, to view this film with an open mind.
I think it is possible to buy the software and just keep it on the shelf without looking at the contents.
