Spring Anime "The Book of Magic Begins from Zero" BD & DVD will go on sale in August! BD & DVD BOX 1 includes a novel newly written by Toranosuke Kakeru!

It has been announced that Blu-ray and DVD of the TV anime "The Book of Magic Begins from Zero " will be released sequentially from August.




Zero kara Hajime no Sho" is a TV anime based on the light novel by Kakeru Toranuki (illustrated by Yoshinori Shizuma, KADOKAWA Dengeki Bunko), which won the "Grand Prize" of the 20th Dengeki Novel Award. This fantasy work depicts a half-animal, half-human mercenary and a naive witch named Zero on a journey in search of the forbidden Book of Zero, which contains a power that could destroy the world. Directed by Tetsuo Hirakawa, character design and chief animation director is Ryosuke Kimiya and Daisuke Mataga, and animation production is by WHITE FOX.

 This work will be released in three forms: Blu-ray & DVD BOX, Blu-ray single volume, and Blu-ray & DVD BOX 1 (containing episodes 1-6) and Blu-ray volume 1 (containing episodes 1-2) will be released on August 2, and Blu-ray/DVD BOX 1 will include a novel newly written by the original author, Kakeru Toranuki. Blu-ray/DVD BOX1 will also be released on October 3. In addition, Blu-ray & DVD BOX 2 (containing episodes 7-12) will be released on October 3, and single Blu-ray volumes and rental DVDs will be released for six consecutive months.
