Welcome back, Kitaeri! Kitaerists were enthusiastic to see her on stage for the first time in two and a half years! Eri Kitamura Premium Live "ZERO-rei-" Report

On April 2, 2017 (Sun), popular voice actress Eri Kitamura's premium live "Zero-rei-" was held at club 1ne2wo, Building 12, ESP Academy Tokyo School, Tokyo.

Prior to the live performance, Ms. Kitamura had just released a mini-album "Revolution [re:i]" on March 22 as the first item of her resumed music activities. Originally calling herself a "vangya (a girl who likes V-kei bands)," this album is a straightforward embodiment of her musical tastes.

Here is a report on the frenzied live performance held with the new song that fully expresses the "Kitaeri" style.

New songs were performed at a furious pace!

It had been two and a half years since her last solo concert in Japan, so many Kitaerists (Eri Kitamura's fans), both male and female, came to the concert, and the floor was packed to the point where they could hardly move! It was evident that everyone had been waiting for "this day".

Finally, the live performance began. Mr. Kitamura took the stage with his right arm raised high in the air, followed by his backing band.

This loud song was produced entirely by Mr. HAKUEI of the V-kei rock band "PRNICILLIN," of which Mr. Kitamura says he is a fan. During the chorus, Mr. Kitamura sings "Let's go! while Kitamura sings passionately, and Kitaerist responds with a shout of "Trust [re:i]! and the Kitaerists responded with shouts of "Trust [re:i]!

The band members this time were YOSHIHIRO (Guild) on guitar, vivi (Festrump) on bass, and shinya on drums. They gave a passionate stage performance that fully expressed Kitaeri's world view.

As soon as the first song was over, the audience started to shout "Welcome back! Kitaeri! and "Kitaeri!" from all over the floor as soon as the first song was over. Kitamura-san raised his hand to the audience and said, "Yo! and smiled openly. The live performance seemed to be developing in an at-home atmosphere, but then he rocked up and declared, "I'm going to kill them anyway! he declared in a rocking voice. The audience applauded in the familiar Kitaeri style.

Kitamura said he had broken his ribs on the day of the show, but he was not bothered by the injury. He was able to put his injury behind him with the powerful words, "Let me see your love! and the stage resumed with "Barayuri xxx," a song he had composed to get the Kitaerists excited at the live performance. The Kitaerists responded to Mr. Kitamura's punkish beat with hand fans and headbangs, and the Kitaerists responded with full-throated shouts! To the fans who followed him without saying much, Mr. Kitamura said with a big smile, "This is the best! Mr. Kitamura said to the fans who followed him without saying much, "I love it!

The next song, "Koi Hanabi" was a song with a Japanese taste. The melancholy yet somewhat aesthetic worldview reminded the audience of the slightly more mature Kitaeri. In "FORTiTUDE," the lyrics of which incorporate the theme of the band's musical activities, "Jyo-o Masho" (going straight ahead), the singer sang "my current thoughts" in a high voice over an aggressive sound. The band's desire to "take everyone to the next stage," as stated in the first MC of the day, was clearly felt in the energetic stage performance, which was almost nonstop from the beginning of the show.
