Now a musical! Bushiroad and Nerkeplanning's new project "Girls' Revue Starlight" has begun!

Bushiroad Inc. and Nerke Planning Inc. have teamed up to launch a major project, "Girls' Opera Revue Starlight.

This project is a new type of live entertainment in which "musical" and "animation" are linked to each other. The musical and TV anime adaptations have already been decided, and the same cast will play the main characters in both.
The story revolves around nine girls who attend a prestigious music school. Each of them aspires to become a "star" with their own dreams and wishes in mind, and when they suddenly receive a mysterious invitation, a fierce battle royale between the girls begins.

Along with the announcement of the project, the cast members playing the nine main characters were also revealed.
The double lead roles are played by Momoyo Koyama, who plays Hanako Aishiro, and Suzuko Mimori, who plays Hikari Kagura. Ms. Koyama is an actress who played the role of Sailor Mercury in the musical "Sailor Moon. Ms. Mimori is a popular voice actress who has appeared in numerous anime and performed successfully in a one-woman live concert at the Nippon Budokan. It will be interesting to see what kind of chemical reactions will occur between these two actresses who are active at the forefront of the scene.

The animation will be directed by Tomohiro Furukawa (assistant director of "Yurikuma Arashi"), with series composition by Tatsuto Higuchi (series composition and screenplay of "Cross Ange: Tenshi to Ryu no Ranbu"), character design by Hiroyuki Saita (character design of "Kumamiko"), and animation production by Kinema Citrus. The animation production will be handled by Kinema Citrus.

The musical "Girls' Revue Starlight -The LIVE-" #1 is scheduled to be held as early as September. Why not experience the world of this work on stage first?

STORY
Starlight" is a song and dance "revue" loved around the world.
Enthralled by this stage, Hanako and Hikari made a promise to each other on the day they were little.
Someday, without fail, we will stand on that stage together!
Time has passed, and "Aiaijo Joujou Hanaika Koi Ren," 16 years old, is working hard in her lessons every day with the promise in her heart.
Then, she is transferred to a new school by "Kagura Hikari," whom she had left when she was a child.
Fate begins to move upon their reunion.
A mysterious audition that opens the curtain.
Do you want to be a top star?
The successful candidate will be given the title of "Top Star," a title that will monopolize all the brilliance of the stage.
The only one who can obtain it is the one who wins the battle royal - "Revue" - played out on the stage.
Hanako, Hikari, and other chosen "stage girls" participate in a mysterious revue with their dreams on the line.
