Animation film "Dawn Tells Lou's Song" to collaborate with DECKS Tokyo Beach in Odaiba, Tokyo!　220,000 light bulbs to express the magic of Rue

A collaboration event with the Odaiba commercial facility DECKS Tokyo Beach has been announced for the anime film "Dawn Tells Lou's Song," which will be released on May 19, 2017.

Dawn Tells Lou's Song" is the first completely original theatrical animation directed by Masaaki Yuasa, who has produced many high-profile works including "Shijohan Shinwa Taikei" and "Ping Pong: The Animation". Set in the desolate fishing port town of Himashi, the film depicts the story of a boy named Kai and a mermaid named Roo, both of whom are burdened with depression over their divorced parents, in a fast-paced and dynamic animation style typical of director Yuasa. The original character design is by manga artist Nemu Yoko, and the screenplay is by "K-ON! Girls und Panzer" and music by Takatsugu Muramatsu of "Mary and the Witch's Flower.
