It was announced that the anime "Digimon Adventure tri.

Digimon Adventure tri." is a sequel to the TV anime "Digimon Adventure. Set three years after the final battle against Belial Vandemon in "Digimon Adventure 02," the story of Taichi Yagami and the other "chosen children" who have grown up is told in six chapters. Directed by Keitaro Motonaga, series composition by Yuko Kakihara, and character design by Atsuya Uki. The film has been a hit, recording box-office revenue of 650 million yen and attendance of 414,000 people up to "Chapter 4: Loss," and "Chapter 5: Symbiosis" is scheduled for release in 2017.

This time, the first stage performance based on this work was announced. The name of the performance is "Super Evolution Stage "Digimon Adventure tri.: The Adventure of August 1st," and it will be a side story centered on the eight "chosen children" who have become high school students. The performance will be held on August 5 (Sat.). It will be performed at Zepp Blue Theatre Roppongi from August 5 (Sat) to August 13 (Sun) (10 performances in total).
