Director Tetsuaki Matsue will take the stage at a teach-in event directed by Masaaki Yuasa scheduled to be held on May 25 for the anime film "Dawn Tells Lou's Song," which will be released on May 19, 2017.

Roo's Song that Tells Dawn" is the first completely original theatrical animation directed by Masaaki Yuasa, who has produced many talked-about works such as "Shijohan Shinwa Taikei" and "Ping Pong the Animation". Set in the desolate fishing port town of Himashi, the film depicts the story of a boy named Kai and a mermaid girl named Roo, who are both burdened with depression over their divorced parents, with the fast-paced and dynamic animation characteristic of director Yuasa. The original character design is by Nemu Yoko, manga artist of "Lawless Zone at 3:00 a.m.," and the screenplay is by K-ON!
