The official voting project "2017 Spring Anime Leading Actor Popularity Poll [Female]" was held from April 25 to May 10 on the anime portal "Anipota" operated by Akiba Research Institute. Here are the results of the poll, in which a total of 12,385 votes were cast.

Out of the many more than 10,000 votes cast, the top female voice actress starring in the spring 2017 anime was Saori Hayami, who played Nino Arisugawa in "Masked Noise". She is a highly acclaimed artist, and in this work she plays a girl who sings when her emotions run high. The gap between her normally restrained performance and the range of her emotions during the singing scenes, as well as the fact that her potential as a voice actress is fully demonstrated in this character, garnered many votes.
The final dead heat with Ms. Hayami came from Kana Hanazawa, who came in second place. She is known for her "soothing" voice as well as Ms. Hayami's, and her performance as Misora Harusaki in "Sakurada Reset" was a natural portrayal of a pure young girl with little emotion!　She is also a natural performer and received a large number of votes to close in on No. 1.

Third place went to Ai Chino, another voice actress with a soothing image who is rapidly gaining attention as a "mother" voice actress. In "Saenai Kanojo no Nutsukata Flat," a sequel to the popular anime "Saenai Kanojo no Nutsukata Flat," she continued to play the role of Shiba Kasumigaoka, as in the previous work. She showed her unchanged popularity.

Other voice actors ranked in the top 10 include Nao Higashiyama (4th), Inori Minase (5th), Ayaka Ohashi (7th), and Mare Uchida (10th), all of whom are highly popular as artists, as well as mid-tier voice actors such as Eri Kitamura (8th) and Marina Inoue (9th). Akane Fujita, who plays the main character in three works this season. She plays a young lady, a tsundere younger sister, and a pampered demon king, all of which arouse the desire for protection. We hope to see more of Akane Fujita in the future.
