The next Machi★Asobi will be held from October 7 to 9!　A review and report on Machi★Asobi vol. 18, which featured VR experiences, the Machi★Asobi RUN, and more!

Machi★Asobi vol. 18, a large-scale event centered in Tokushima Prefecture, was held in downtown Tokushima from May 5 (Fri.) to 7 (Sun.), 2017.

Machi★Asobi"is a local event that started in Tokushima Prefecture in2009, with the cooperation and participation of numerous companies, mainly in the anime and game industries.Machi★Asobi inMayis held mainly in the park and shopping area along the Shinmachi River. The "Art Museum under the Bridge" is one of the specialties of the festival. In this issue, welook back atMachi★Asobivol. 18as a whole and report mainly on photos.

Akane Fujita from "Eromanga Sensei" was appointed as a one-day station master at the Tokushima Station one-day station master event, which was the first item on the first day of the event. She saw off the launch of the limited express train.

The opening ceremony of Machi★Asobi vol. 18 was held on the Shinmachibashi East Park stage on the first day. Tokushima Anime Ambassador Eriko Nakamura, voice actress Yuri Ehara, and Hikaru Kondo, president of animation production company ufotable, declared the event open.

A presentation ceremony was held for a mobile library that will be donated to Minamisanriku Town with the proceeds from Machi★Asobi's annual charity auction.

Poppo-gai, a shopping street just outside Tokushima Station to the right, is one of the stages of Machi★Asobi.

Many exhibitions of original manga and animation drawings were held in Poppo-gai.

The Silverlink booth exhibited many of the latest works, including "Prisma Illya the Movie" and "Armed Girl Machiavellism

Akio Watanabe Art Works exhibits illustrations of "Pretty Rhythm" series and many other works

In the Higashishinmachi 1-chome shopping district, where ufotable CINEMA is located, there were many booths where visitors could experience games and other exhibits.
