On Sunday, May 7, 2017, a public recording of "Uma Musume Pretty Derby" web radio program "Paka Radio: Uma Musume Pretty Derby PR Department" was held at the Shinmachibashi East Park Stage during "Machi★Asobi vol. 18" in Tokushima Prefecture! ~The program featured appearances by personalities Azumi Waki (Special Week), Marika Takano (Silence Suzuka), Machico (Tokai Teio), and guests Minami Takahashi (El Condor Pacer) and Yuka Aisaka (Naritabryan).
⇒Cygames announced a TV anime adaptation of the new game "Uma Musume Pretty Derby"! Production is by P.A.WORKS.

Uma Musume Pretty Derby" is a smartphone game being developed by Cygames, in which "Uma Musume," mysterious anthropomorphic racehorses of legendary racehorse legends, race in races and on stages. The "Machi★Asobi" event will be held at the "Machi★Asobi" exhibition. This will be the third time "Uma Musume" has held an event at Machi★Asobi, and it has become a familiar sight.

Shinmachibashi East Park is an outdoor plaza facing the Shinmachi River. After the familiar fanfare under the clear skies, the five members ran on stage and sang a short version of the theme song "Umapyoi Densetsu (Legend of Umapyoi)" to start the event. The atmosphere at the beginning of the show was relaxed, with Mr. Takano, who has a lot of experience in Tokushima, recommending Tokushima ramen and Mr. Takahashi revealing that his relatives had come to see the event (on the other side of the river), which drew cheers from the audience. The mood was so relaxed that it was hard to believe that this was the first public recording. The full-length recording will be available on "Hibiki - HiBiKi Radio Station" from May 12 to May 19, so please listen to it as well, but this time, I'm going to show you more photos to convey the scene at the venue.

In the talk about the CD "Uma Musume Pretty Derby STARTING GATE 05," in which Ms. Takahashi participated, she reproduced on stage the choreography and the facial expressions she showed at the release event. In the following talk on "STARTING GATE 06," Ms. Aisaka, not to be outdone (?), paraded to the front of the stage. Aisaka-san showed his super guest performance by dancing and parading around to the front of the stage.

Machico-san, Takahashi-san, and Aisaka-san did postrecording based on an illustration of "Bizan-chan," the new heroine of Tokushima, designed by Ms. Waki. Ms. Aisaka established the image of Byzan-chan, a beautiful girl who sounds like a goddess protecting Tokushima. When Ms. Waki, the character designer, revealed that she is also an element of radio waves (a mountain that emits radio waves), Takahashi-san, who played the last part, enlivened the audience with her enthusiastic new interpretation full of radio waves. The talk and games were lively, of course, and even the game of rock-paper-scissors was filled with laughter, which seemed to contribute to the sense of freedom that only a local outdoor stage can provide.

After successfully completing the public recording part, the five members were surprised to see how strong the sunlight was in the venue and how tanned they were. The final song was, of course, the theme song "Umapyoi Densetsu" (Legend of Umapyoi). The lively choreography of this song, and the feeling of the audience joining in the excitement with the song, suited this plaza where the audience was surrounded by the song. The last song ended with a big wave to the audience in all directions, hoping to see them again at "Machi★Asobi" in October.
