Machico, a voice actor and ani-song singer, held an event to celebrate the release of her first major album "SOL" at Ikebukuro Sunshine City Fountain Plaza on Tuesday, May 23, 2017.



As a voice actor, Machico is known for playing the role of Tsubasa Ibuki in "THE iDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE! and as a singer, she has performed in the "Bless This Wonderful World! series and "12 Years Old. ～As a singer, Machico, who is well known to many anime fans for her role as Tsubasa Ibuki in "THE IDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE!" series and the theme song of "12 years old.

This album includes her first anime tie-up song, "Bless this Wonderful World! 2" opening theme "TOMORROW," and other songs that show the trajectory of her career as an anime song singer. The release event for this ambitious work was held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, the day before its release, and about 500 fans came to the venue.

Machico appeared on the plaza with a smile as dazzling as the sun to loud cheers!　Instead of greeting the audience, she performed her latest single "TOMORROW".
Her falsetto, which she prides herself on, echoed in the upper part of the band's sound. During the interlude, Machico jumped and jumped happily to the audience's shouts, which brought a smile to our faces.

After singing the first song, Machico commented on the album "SOL," saying, "I named it after the sun god Sol (from mythology), and I hope my songs will be as close to you as the sun is to me.
