Akiba Research Institute's editor-in-chief appears on MUSIC BIRD's "Anison Hi!", a radio program that plays ani-songs in near high-resolution sound!
MUSIC BIRD, a high-quality satellite digital music broadcasting service, has launched a new program specializing in ani-songs, "Ani-song Hi! Anison Hi!" takes advantage of MUSIC BIRD's unique 24bit/48kHz sound quality, which is close to high-resolution, to deliver a variety of anisongs in high sound quality. The personalities of the program are audio/visual writer Kenji Nomura, the man behind the high-resolution anisongs, and MUSIC BIRD announcer Shiyoshi Yagi. Every Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00 (rebroadcast from 20:00 to 21:00 on the same day), they deliver a variety of fun talks related to ani-songs and deliver ani-songs in high sound quality.
Akiba Research Institute's editor-in-chief, Takeshi Kamata, will make a guest appearance on the high-quality anison program "Anison Hi! The first broadcast of the program has already finished on April 15 (Sat), and the second broadcast will follow on May 27 (Sat). The second broadcast will be aired on Saturday, May 27, and will feature a discussion on the current anisong market and the anime situation surrounding it, along with the host, Mr. Nomura. The theme of the second talk session will be "Good old anisong, our anisong," featuring famous anisong songs from the 1970s to the 2000s, along with a nostalgic look back on those days. To listen to MUSIC BIRD, a digital satellite music broadcasting service, a dedicated tuner and a parabolic antenna are required. Although this may seem like a bit of a hurdle, MUSIC BIRD is currently waiving the subscription fee (1,200 yen before tax), the dedicated tuner and antenna set (800 yen per month before tax for rental, 60,600 yen for purchase), and the standard installation work (15,000 yen before tax) for a total initial cost of 37,200 yen, limited to 20 new subscribers per month. The company is accepting the new "Comi Comi Light" plan (26-channel use, 3-year contract), which waives 37,200 yen (a separate monthly fee of 2,160 yen (for 50-channel pack) will be charged). This is a very economical plan, so those who are interested should definitely consider it.
