TV anime "Sakurada Reset" announces new characters and additional cast members! Takahiro Sakurai, Marei Uchida, Kengo Kawanishi

The TV anime "Sakurada Reset" is currently airing and new character information has been released for the second season.




Sakurada Reset" is the debut novel (KADOKAWA Kadokawa Bunko/Sneaker Bunko) by Yutaka Kono, known for his "Staircase Island" series, and is set in "Sakurada," a town where people with abilities gather. The story is a "coming-of-age science fiction story" about two girls, Kei Asai, a high school student with the ability to "retain memories" and Misora Harusaki, a girl with the ability to "reset" the world to rewind three days, who travel through time and change the world.
The staff of the TV anime is directed by Shinya Kawamasu of "Carefree" fame, with series composition by Katsuhiko Takayama of "ef - a tale of memories" fame, and character design by Tomoyuki Shimotani of "Bakuman. The animation is produced by david production of "planetarian".

The new characters for the second season are Takahiro Sakurai as Masamune Urachi, the head of the Administration Bureau's countermeasures office, who stands in the way of the main character, Kei Asai (CV: Kaito Ishikawa), and a girl he meets in the "dream world" that Kei and his friends have been assigned to investigate. Marei Uchida will play the role of Michiru, a girl whom Kei and his friends met in the "dream world" they were supposed to investigate, and Kengo Kawanishi will play the role of Chiruchiru, a mysterious young man who watches over Michiru.
