Iwatsuka Seika Corporation's popular "Otona no Otsumami Series," which celebrates its 70th anniversary this year, will release a new package in collaboration with the popular anime "Wakako Sake" written by Chiei Shinku.
The product will be released sequentially throughout Japan for a three-month summer-only period starting on June 1, 2017 (Thursday).

Wakako Sake" is a manga serialized by Chiei Shinku in "Monthly Comic Zenon" (North Stars Pictures) and distributed through the magazine's webcomic "Web Comic Zenyon. It is a gourmet manga in which Wakako Murazaki, a 26-year-old office worker born with a "drinker's tongue," wanders around in search of a place to stay tonight and enjoys "drinking alone as a woman. As of April 2017, it has sold more than 1.5 million copies. ＜The work's charm lies in the exclamatory expression of admiration that Wakako shows at the moment of bliss when the perfect combination of "sake" and "tasty snacks" is achieved.

The collaboration between "Wakako Sake" and Iwatsuka Seika's hit "Otona no Otsumami Series," which became a hot topic by word of mouth and SNS as soon as it went on sale in the summer of 2015, is set to continue this year.

This year, the third year of the collaboration, the package design features a larger version of Wakako, and the individual wrappings of the larger size products also feature an illustration!　In addition, an original four-frame manga is also included.

An animated video promoting the series was also created.
The voice actress Miyuki Sawashiro, who portrayed Wakako in the TV anime, also cooperated in the creation of this PV, which gives the viewer a taste of the world of the series.
