Osomatsu-san" is an original anime created to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the late Fujio Akatsuka's birth.
Based on "Osomatsu-kun," a gag manga published by Fujio Akatsuka in "Weekly Shōnen Sunday" in 1962 that became an explosive hit, "Osomatsu-san" depicts a future where the six children have grown up. The series became instantly popular for its aggressive gags and parodies, the portrayal of the six children's diverse personalities, and the use of popular male voice actors. One year after its broadcast, the series continues to develop in a variety of ways, including a wide range of merchandising, major collaborations with convenience stores and JRA, and even game applications and stage productions.

Since the announcement of the second season of the TV anime on April 6, 2017, the momentum has continued, including the first PC browser card game "Osomatsu-san: Damesatsu Collection: Bonds of Six Children," which has been distributed by DMM Games since the end of May, and a collaboration with Lawson, which started on June 13, and has been selling "Osomatsu-san: Damesatsu-san" limited edition flavor "Osomatsu-san" since June 13. The well-known "Matsuno-ichi" sales event will be held on July 1 (Sat.) and 2 (Sun.) at Omotesando Hills B3F Space O as the "Summer Matsuno-ichi".

In the first season, the six children who fought to the death against the Daiyon Ginga Daigaku Taisuke High School to win the "Senbatsu" championship were scattered in space in the final episode, which is typical of "Osomatsu-san." The completed teaser visual shows the six children finally returning to earth in preparation for the second season broadcast. The visual foreshadows the second season of the series, with the six children descending with a single parachute into the sunrise, looking lively as they embark on a new beginning, and a planet resembling Dayon and Shonosuke Seizawa floating in space in the background, all foreshadowing the crazy developments that are to come.
