The official report of the premium event "Hoshi ga Kirei" to celebrate the release of Nao Higashiyama's 2nd single has arrived!
On Sunday, June 11, 2017, Nao Higashiyama held the premium event "Hoshi ga Kirei" at the Hamagin Children's Space Science Museum Space Theater in Kanagawa Prefecture.
Nao Higashiyama is known for her roles in "The World God Only Knows" (Kanon Nakagawa) and "Hibike! Euphonium 2" (Nozomi Kusaki) and "Tsuki ga Kirei" (Ryoko Sonoda). She made her long-awaited solo debut in February this year and released her second single as early as May 24. In addition, she has become one of the hottest artists of the moment, with a record attendance of more than 2,100 people over two days at events held in Nishinomiya City (Hyogo Prefecture) and Nagoya City (Aichi Prefecture) in commemoration of the release of her second single.
The atmosphere was somewhat somber, different from the usual anime events, but when Nao Higashiyama appeared on stage wearing a white one-piece dress, the mood at the venue changed to a calm and cheerful one. The talk session began in a friendly atmosphere. The theme of the talk was "What would you like to ask Nao Higashiyama? and "What was drawn on the desk during the making of the music video" were some of the behind-the-scenes stories that were shown for the first time at the event.
Following the talk was the "Imakoko! Music Video Viewing Session. The venue was enveloped in darkness, but a starry sky was projected above the venue. The music video of "Imakoko" was projected in the starry sky, and everyone was fascinated by the image of Nao Higashiyama floating in the night sky.
After the music video was shown, a spotlight shone on the stage in the fantastic space surrounded by the starry sky. Nao Higashiyama took the stage again and started the "live part," the last section of the show.
The only thing reflected in the eyes was "starry sky" and "Nao Higashiyama on stage. The audience watched quietly as she opened with "Bright Heart". The audience couldn't help but smile at her cute performance with gestures and her bright and sparkling voice, which created a soft atmosphere. After the song, "First Love" began without a pause. This remarkable song was a cover by Nao Higashiyama of the classic song of yesteryear by Kozo Murashita. Her slow, dark, yet heartfelt voice gently enveloped the audience, many of whom were moved to tears.
The third song sung in a calm mood was "Tsuki ga Kirei" (Moon is Beautiful), another superb ballad number. The third song was "Tsuki ga Kirei" (Moon is Beautiful), another superb ballad number. Looking up, the audience was surprised to see the lyric video projected on the starry sky. The lyrics projected on the starry night sky, combined with the singing voice, made the audience feel the "heart of love" deep in their hearts. This song also brought tears to the eyes of many in the audience.
The last song was of course "Imakoko," a scene from the music video in which they sing under the starry sky, which was recreated right here in "Imakoko. The song's mood changed from a calm to a more energetic tone. During the song, the audience joined in with them, chanting "Go! Go! and the audience sang along with her, showing the strong bond that unites Nao Higashiyama and the audience.
The event closed with a thank-you note to the audience and an expression of enthusiasm for the upcoming summer Anisama performance.
The voice that Nao Higashiyama spun under the star-filled sky will always shine in the hearts of the audience.
Please look forward to Nao Higashiyama's glittering future!
