Kyoani-produced anime "Violet Evergarden" releases its first PV!　Broadcasting in January 2018, simultaneous worldwide distribution and world tour to be held!

The first PV of "Violet Evergarden," an anime produced by Kyoto Animation, has been released, announcing that it will be broadcast and distributed simultaneously worldwide in January 2018.




Violet Evergarden" is an anime work based on the novel by Kana Ake (KAESMA Bunko/Kyoto Animation), which won the first grand prize at the "5th Kyoto Animation Grand Prize" hosted by Kyoto Animation. The director is Taichi Ishidate, who directed "Beyond the Boundary -I'LL BE HERE-", the series composition is by Reiko Yoshida, who wrote the screenplay for the movie "聲の形", etc., and the character design is by Akiko Takase, who was in charge of the illustrations in this work's library. The character design is by Akiko Takase, who also did the illustrations for the book. The main character "Violet Evergarden" is played by voice actress Yui Ishikawa, who played Mikasa Ackermann in "Shinkage no Kyojin. In addition, the OP theme song will be sung by TRUE.
