The most irresponsible man in the universe, once again! Summer anime "Irresponsible Galaxy☆ Tyler" to air!

The latest in the popular "The Most Irresponsible Man in the Universe" light novel series, which gained popularity in the 1990s, "Irresponsible Galaxy☆Tyler" will begin its TV broadcast on July 11, 2017 (Tuesday).

The "Universe's Most Irresponsible Man" series is a light novel series written by Hei Yoshioka, which was adapted into a TV anime in 1993 under the title "Irresponsible Captain Tyler. It later became a popular series that was also released as an OVA. The "The Most Irresponsible Man in the Universe" series has become a bestseller with over 50 books in total, including sequels and revised editions.
The anime adaptation of "Irresponsible Galaxy Tyler" will be produced by Dream Creation (of "Aimaimaimi" fame) and Earth Star Entertainment (of "Teikyu" fame), who are teaming up for the first time.

Set far in the future from the time of "Irresponsible Captain Tyler," Banjo Ueki Tyler, a boy who was picking up trash on the outer wall of a spherical celestial body, and Goza 168th (Azalin), a girl who was iced in a ragged spaceship that they somehow saved, overcome various difficulties and set out for the reconstruction of the Galactic Republic Story at .......

The main character Banjo will be played by Hikaru Koide of Earth Star Dream, and the heroine Goza 168 will be played by Kanon Takao, also of Earth Star Dream. The unit "Hikanon" (Hikaru Koide & Kanon Takao), formed by Koide and Takao, will sing the theme song "Smile ♡ Invitation" for the film.
Hikanon" has been performing mainly at Earth Star Dream's live concerts as a unit that can handle everything from soft and fluffy songs to superbly crafted narrative songs utilizing Takao's world-class piano performance.
Hika Non" will make its CD debut with this song.
