Natsume and Natori search for a hidden study in the Hakozaki mansion. Matoba clan member Nanase can also be seen in the mansion. During the search, Natsume is attacked by a ghost, who asks Natori about the book of friends, and Natori decides to tell Natori everything when the search for the study is over. The group resumes their search for the inheritance, focusing on the room where they can see the maple tree that Hakozaki planted for his granddaughter, Beniko.
