Anime film "Princess Hirune" BD & DVD to be released on September 13! Newly-drawn visuals also revealed!

The Blu-ray & DVD release date has been set for September 13, 2017 (Wednesday) from the anime film "Princess Hirune: The Unknown Watashi no Monogatari" .




The anime film "Princess Hirune: The Unknown Watashi no Monogatari" is the latest work by director Kenji Kamiyama, known for the "Ghost in the Shell S.A.C." series, "Eden of the East" and "The Guardian of the Spirit," who also wrote the script himself. The characters are based on "Onna no Ongyo" (The Return of the Cat). The original character design is by Satoko Morikawa of "The Cat Returns," the design for the sidecar "Hearts" that transforms into a robot is by Shigeto Koyama of "Baymax," the animation is by Atsuko Sasaki of "Eden of the East," and the animation production is by Signal M.D.

The Blu-ray and DVD of "Princess Hirune: The Unknown Watashi no Monogatari" will be released on September 13, 2017 (Wednesday), and in addition to the "Standard Edition" of the Blu-ray and DVD, there will also be a "Blu-ray Special Edition" that includes a special booklet and video extras. The "Blu-ray Special Edition" will also include a special booklet and video extras. The jacket of the "Blu-ray Special Edition" features a new visual depicting Kokone flying in the sky on Hertz.

In addition, to celebrate the release of the Blu-ray & DVD, a ""Princess Hirune" the Movie Blu-ray & DVD Release Commemorative Event" will be held on September 16, 2017 (Sat) at the HMV & BOOKS TOKYO 7F event space.
