Chunibyo-ness in full bloom!　Intense, bewitching and beautiful, elfin', interview with their 2nd single "Luna†Requiem ~Gekijino-no-Entei~"!

elfin'", a unit of beautiful women with voices, makes its first appearance on "Akiba Research Institute"!

Oscar Promotion, which stands for "beauty," and Aoni Productions, which stands for "voice," have teamed up to form "elfin'" with Miyu Tsuji (Grand Prix winner), Rie Hanabusa (Runner-up Grand Prix winner), and Mie Takahashi (Runner-up Grand Prix winner), who were selected as the Grand Prix and Runner-up in the "All Japan Beautiful Voice Women Contest" held in 2014. elfin'" will release their second single "Luna†Requiem ~Gekijino-no Entei~" on Wednesday, June 21, 2017.

The new song they sing this time is a hard rock tune colored with a gothic worldview, a complete change from their refreshing debut song "Colorful Fantasy"!　We asked the three members to share their thoughts about the new frontier they have challenged after two years of activity since their formation.

───Please begin by introducing yourself!

Hanabusa: My name is Rie Hanabusa. My last name is Hanafusa, so everyone calls me "Flower. My image color is blue, and my hobbies are watching foreign dramas and window shopping because I love fashion. My specialty is dance, and I have been learning jazz dance, tap dance, and classical ballet since I was 3 years old.

Tsuji My name is Miyu Tsuji, and I am the leader of elfin'. Please call me Miyumiyu!　My color is green. My hobbies are drawing pictures, watching manga and anime, and playing games. As for drawing, I took painting classes for 8 years from kindergarten to elementary school. But now I am just an otaku (laughs). I am currently working as a manga artist as well, writing a serial manga called "Strawberry Dream" for "Cho-Animedia".

Takahashi: My name is Mii Takahashi, also known as "Miitan. My image color is red. I have always loved musicals, and my recent hobby is going to live performances. Also, I have recently become addicted to singing songs about things that are happening in the moment, and making them sound like a musical.

─ ─ What kind of group is elfin'?

Tsuji: We are a unit formed by the three winners of the grand prix and runner-up prizes in the "All Japan Beauty Contest" held by Oscar Promotion and Seiji Productions in 2014. Since many actresses and models belong to Oscar Promotion and voice actors belong to Aoni Productions, they are active in multiple fields such as artists, voice actors, actresses, and talents.

─ ─ You say that you are "beautiful voice girls," but what do you think of each other's members' voices?

Tsuji: Mita's voice is clear and clear, and I have the image that she specializes in musicals. （I think she has a wonderful voice because of her love for musicals. Flower-chan has a unique and cute natural voice. I don't think she has a fake voice or an anime voice, but rather a cute voice.

Takahashi I appreciate you saying that. ...... I think Miyumiyu's voice itself is very clear and easy to listen to, a truly beautiful voice, but when she MC's at live performances, her voice character changes from sexy older lady to boy to cute girl in one live performance, so I want people to pay attention to that. As Miyumiyu says, Flower has a cute natural voice.

Hanabusa (blushing) I'm embarrassed. ...... I think they are the two who won the Grand Prix and the Semi-Grand Prix in the Beautiful Voice Women's Contest, so I really think they each have a unique and nice voice.

Tsuji You also won the semi-grand prix! (Laughs)

Hanabusa (laughs). Miitan has a clear voice, and I think her high notes when she sings are attractive. As a song leader, she is leading the songs of elfin'. Miyumiyu can really do any kind of voice, so much so that she says she was really born to be a voice actress!　Even when talking backstage, she would suddenly change her voice.

Tsuji: Oh, my God, you sound like an old lady.

Takahashi: It really comes out of nowhere like this (laughs).
