The TV anime"Knights & Magic," which willstart airing on July 2, 2017, has released an advance cut and synopsis of the first episode, as well as information on the special program.




Knights & Magic" is a popular light novel (illustrated by Kurogin, published by Shufunotomo-sha Hero Bunko) written by Tenshunohyou. It is an authentic robot fantasy about a young man who is a skilled programmer and a serious "robot nerd" who is reborn in an alternate world where swords, magic, and the giant humanoid weapon "Silhouette Knight" exist, and aspires to become a robot pilot and knight operator. The story is serialized on the novel submission site "Shosetsu-ka-naroro" (Novelist's Alert), and the manga is also serialized in "Young Gangan" (Square Enix).

Tsubasa Kurata is a skilled programmer and a serious robot otaku. He is reincarnated as Ernesti (El) in another world, and encounters a situation that shakes his destiny. Ro, it's a robot! He is fascinated by the silhouette knight that appears before him, and enrolls in the Knight Runner Academy to become a Knight Runner. He uses his knowledge and talent as a programmer to make his name known throughout the academy. El leads a peaceful life at the academy, but the threat of a fearsome magical beast is quietly looming.
