BIC CAMERA AKIBA" Grand OPEN today, June 22!

BIC CAMERA AKIBA" had its grand opening today, June 22 (Thursday). The location is the former site of "Sofmap Akihabara Main Building," which was closed on May 31 (Wed.).




BIC CAMERA AKIBA" is a new BIC CAMERA store that opened on the former site of "Sofmap Akihabara Main Building" which was closed on May 31 (Wed.).

In conjunction with the opening of BIC CAMERA AKIBA, the Sofmap stores in the Akihabara area were reorganized from seven to five so that customers can find what they want according to their needs. The stores were renamed as follows: "Sofmap AKIBA No. 1 Subculture & Mobile Store" for Akiba Sofmap No. 1, "Sofmap AKIBA No. 2 PC General Store" for Sofmap Akihabara Reuse Sogo Kan, "Sofmap AKIBA No. 3 Mac Collection" for Mac Collection, "Sofmap Akihabara Amusement Center is now "Sofmap AKIBA No. 4 Amusement Center," and Sofmap Akihabara Used PC Ekimae Store is now "Sofmap AKIBA No. 5 Used Digital Store Purchase Center.

In addition, Bic Camera AKIBA and the five Sofmap stores in the Akihabara area will be collectively called "AKIBA Bicmap," and they will collaborate on services and hold joint campaigns and events.

B ic Camera AKIBA will hold an opening sale from today, June 22 (Thu.) through June 29 (Thu.). There will be two types of special price items available: lottery sale items and first-come, first-served items, and one of them will be available for purchase. Both lottery and first-come, first-served items will be available from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. daily, and the winner of the lottery will be announced at 12:00 p.m. at Bic Camera AKIBA's 1st floor storefront. Also, five Sofmap stores in the Akihabara area will be holding a special price sale, so be sure to check them out as well.
