An official report from the advance screening of episodes 12 and 13 with the cast on stage, held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, has arrived from the TV anime "Sakurada Reset" currently airing.




Sakurada Reset" is the debut novel (KADOKAWA Kadokawa Bunko/Sneaker Bunko) by Yutaka Kono, known for his "Staircase Island" series, and is set in "Sakurada," a town where people with abilities gather, and follows Kei Asai, a high school student with the ability to "retain memories" and never forget what she has seen and heard, and a girl with the ability to rewind the world by three days. The story is a "coming-of-age science fiction story" about two girls, Kei Asai, a high school student with the ability to "retain memory" and Misora Harusaki, a girl with the ability to "reset" the world to rewind three days, who travel through time and change the world.
The staff of the TV anime is directed by Shinya Kawamasu of "Carefree" fame, with series composition by Katsuhiko Takayama of "ef - a tale of memories" fame, and character design by Tomoyuki Shimotani of "Bakuman. First of all, we asked Sakurai-san and Kawanishi-san, who were selected as new characters for the second cool season, about their impressions of the work.
Sakurai said, "At first I thought it was a difficult work because the abilities are built in like a puzzle and you have to go in and think about it to figure it out. I felt an indescribable sense of elation as if I was one of the pieces that fit in with the other characters, and I felt that I was able to participate in a very good work. I had to speak as if I knew more about this world than Mr. Ishikawa and Ms. Hanazawa, who have been in the show for a long time, even though I had only participated since episode 12. It was a challenging but rewarding role," he said, describing the difficulties of playing the role.

Asked about the most impressive scene in episodes 12 and 13, Mr. Ishikawa replied, "The part where the bird talks (laughs). I was thinking, "The bird speaks in a nice voice! Actually, it is a symbol of the dream world, an abnormal world where an absolutely impossible being is a god-like existence, but in a sense, it presents a worldview where this abnormality is normal. I hope it will leave a lasting impression on you," he said, picking up on a scene involving Chiruchiru, played by Ms. Kawanishi.
Ms. Hanazawa said, "In the scene where they enter the stray cat house, Kay...tells Harusaki and Nonoo, 'Pants! (a scene where she is embarrassed because she can almost see her pants). I was surprised to see such a fresh expression on Kei's face.

The talk was also about "If you could make a wish for Chiruchiru, who is like an omnipotent god, what would it be? The theme of the talk was "What would you wish for Chiruchiru, who is like an omnipotent god?
Kawanishi said, "Since Chiruchiru is a bird, I would like to erase boiled eggs from the world," and Sakurai said, "I would like to fly in the sky. Mr. Sakurai said, "I want to fly in the sky. Other than that, I can only think of bad things (laughs)! It would also be nice to be a ninja who can move agilely." Mr. Ishikawa said, "I honestly want a house. I don't want to pay property tax if possible.
Kawanishi-san, who played the role of Chiruchiru, was asked on behalf of the audience what one wish among these wishes he would like to fulfill, and Hanazawa-san's answer was chosen with great success.

In the other talk topic, the character "Index-san," who appears in the work, has the ability to detect lies, and only one person who drew a winning lottery ticket was asked to tell a false episode.

In response to the question "What I'm into these days," Ishikawa said, "I'm into getting a driver's license," Hanazawa said, "I'm into radiko and listening to various radio stations," and Sakurai said, "I'm into sandals. Kawanishi said, "I'm addicted to the character Lisa and Gaspard.
While the MC predicted that it would be Sakurai-san who won the lottery, he announced that it was Ishikawa-san who had lied. The corner ended on a high note, with the audience who had seen through the lie pointing out their reactions when they drew the winning lottery ticket.

At the end of the event, it was announced that the key visuals for the second course would be unveiled and that the new opening theme would be "Dakara boku wa boku wo tebutsu wo let go" by WEAVER.
It was also announced that a collaboration with "SHIROBACO" on Asagaya Anime Street will start on July 19! The collaboration will be called "Cafe SAKURADA @ SHIROBACO" and original novelties will be produced, so SAKURADA fans should check it out.
