The first PV, the latest key visual, and information on the main cast have been released from theTV anime "Grancrest Senki," which is scheduled to air in January 2018.




The "Grancrest Senki" is a light novel by Ryo Mizuno, the creator of "The Chronicles of Rhodes Island".Set on a continent where chaos rules everything, this military fantasy depicts a battle over the Emperor's Holy Seal (Grancrest), which is the crystal of order. The series is directed by Mamoru Hatakeyama of the "Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju" series, with series composition by Ryo Mizuno and Satoshi Yano, character design by Hiroshi Yamukai, and production by A-1 Pictures, which also produced "Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale.

A new key visual and the first PV have been released, and the additional main cast has been revealed, following Kentaro Kumagai as the main character, Theo, and Akari Kito as the heroine, Shiluka. Yuichi Nakamura as Irving, Rena Ueda as Eichera, Satoshi Hino as Rasic David, Sadashijo Matsuoka as Moreno Dortus, Natsumi Takamori as Priscilla, Ai Chino as Marlene Kraisse, Takahiro Sakurai as Villar Constance, Wataru Hatano as Milzer Kuches, and Wataru Hatano and Yuichi Iguchi as Alexis Doucet.

The lonely magician Shilka and the wandering knight Theo.
Will the oath of fealty exchanged by the two bring about the winds of change on a continent of chaos and warfare?

Atlatan is a continent where chaos rules everything.
People live in fear of disasters caused by chaos, and are protected by the "sovereigns," who possess the "holy seal," the power to quell the chaos.
