Report on "Infini-T Force", the fall anime "Infini-T Force", at "Anime Expo 2017" with Tomokazu Seki and Kiyotaka Suzuki on the stage!

An "Anime Expo 2017" event report has arrived from the fall anime "Infini-T Force," which will begin airing in October.



Infini-T Force", the 55th anniversary work of animation studio Tatsunoko Productions, is a crossover work of four major Tatsunoko heroes such as "Science Ninja Team Gatchaman", "Space Knight Tekkaman", "Huraiken Polymer" and "Shinsojin Casshan". The film depicts the characters, redesigned in a new look with the utmost respect for the original story, fighting together and confronting evil.

The film is directed by first-time director Kiyotaka Suzuki ("PSYCHO-PASS 2" series director), with series composition by Toshiya Ohno ("Suite Pretty Cure♪"), character design by Korehito Ogure ("Tenjo Tenge"), hero design by Iichi Satokei ("TIGER&amp BUNNY"), and suit and mechanical design by Koji Nakakita ("GATCHAMAN CROWDS"). In addition, 3DCG production will be handled by Digital Frontier, which has produced numerous blockbusters in both live-action and animation genres, including "GANTZ: O" and "Death Note: Light up the NEW world.

The world's fastest premiere screening was held at Anime Expo 2017, the largest anime event in North America (July 1 - 4, 2017), with Tomokazu Seki, who plays Gatchaman, and director Kiyotaka Suzuki on stage. Tomokazu Seki, who plays Gatchaman, and director Kiyotaka Suzuki took the stage.

 On July 1, the opening day of the event, the first episode of "Infini-T Force" had its world premiere screening with more than approximately 1,000 enthusiastic anime fans from around the world filling the venue. Anime fans in the audience could not hide their excitement at the heroes' activities, including Gatchaman, which were shown earlier than in Japan.

  After the screening, before the guests took the stage, the MCintroduced Tatsunoko Productions, known inNorth America for"Speed Racer" and "Mach GoGoGo," and gave an introductory explanation about the company's 55th anniversary, which was met withshouts of congratulations fromthe audience, including"Happy Birthday!

 The MC then called out "Infinity! was responded with "Force!The excitement of the audience was quickly turned up whenTomokazu Seki, who plays Gatchaman, director Kiyotaka Suzuki, and producer Kazumichi Haruna(Tatsunoko Productions)finallyappeared on stage!

 It had been 13 years since Seki attended Anime Expo since 2004. Seki spoke enthusiastically of his joy at being able to attend Anime Expo again and to see so many fans again. Director Kiyotaka Suzuki, who was also present, felt the excitement of the audience and told the fans that he was honored to be able to attend the "Anime Expo" and that he was very happy to be here.
 Since only the first episode was screened this time, he was greeted with shouts of "I want to see more! Director Suzukiresponded, "We've made the structure of each episode so that you can't wait to see what happens in the next episode, so please look forward to the development in North America and the second and subsequent episodes.

 There was also time for a teach-in from the audience, who were impressed by the beauty of the 3DCG visuals and the persuasive way in which the heroes, including Gatchaman, played by Seki, were portrayed. One audience member alsoasked if there would be any "Tatsunoko heroes" in"Infini-T Force"other than thefour (Gatchaman, Tekkaman, Polymer, andCasshern). The question, or rather a request! The last question was proposed by Director Suzuki.

Through this event,we realized that thepopularity and interest in the Tatsunoko heroes of past generations is very high even in foreign countries, and that thereare high expectations for this film depicting the activities of the Tatsunoko Legends.
