Four KADOKAWA works, including "The Rise of the Shield Hero" and "Chio-chan's Way to School," will be adapted into anime!

On July 1, 2017, at Anime Expo 2017 in Los Angeles, four KADOKAWA works were announced as anime adaptations, and a promotional video was also released for the first time in the world.

The four works that have been announced for anime adaptation are "The Rise of the Shield Hero," "Chio-chan's School Road," "Project D," and "Angolmore: Genkou Gassenki.

The heroic fantasy "The Rise of the Shield Hero" depicts the hero, Naofumi Iwatani, who is summoned to another world as a "shield hero" but loses everything due to conspiracy and betrayal, and rises from the bottom. Chio-chan's Way to School" is an extreme comedy about a high school girl, Chio Mitani, who experiences various troubles on her way to school, such as road construction, a motorcycle gang, and a sudden urge to urinate. Project D" is a time-lapse original anime set in the near future. Angolmore: Genko Gassenki" is an authentic historical epic romance that depicts the "Genko", a major event that shook medieval Japan, from a novel perspective.
