The latest PV, episode 1 synopsis, and scene cuts from the TV anime "THE REFLECTION," which will begin airing on NHK Sogo TV on July 22 (Sat), 2017.

THE REFLECTION" is a 30-minute animation series based on an original story by Stan Lee, known as a master of the American comic world, and Hiroshi Nagahama, who directed the TV animation "MUSHI-SHI", as a joint project of POW! ENTERTAINMENT and Studio Deen.

The latest PV using the opening song and footage of the first episode composed by Trevor Horn, as well as the synopsis and scene cuts of the first episode "Ceremony " have been released. Synopsis

Episode 1 "Ceremony
Three years after "Reflection," a mysterious phenomenon that took the lives of countless people around the world, the world is in the midst of a ceremony to celebrate the death of a young man. Three years later, at a memorial ceremony held in New York, the survivors of "Reflection" use their terrifying "power" to commit a terrorist attack. But there were heroes who dared to stand up against them.
Can they stop the evil plot? ......

We have been working on this project for years. We have rewritten and polished it over and over again to make it the best it can be.
And now we can finally see the finished product. I can't wait for the broadcast. I want everyone within earshot to watch "THE REFLECTION" because it is actually a very wonderful anime. Because it is actually a wonderful animation work.
Beautiful animation and great music. It has action, adventure, suspense, and is full of imagination that I can't even begin to explain. And then...I'll leave it at that, because I feel like running home and watching it at home right now. So enjoy the show. It will be fun.

I've contributed a lot of poetry to animated films before, but this is the first time I've done a project like this.
I've never done anything like this before, and I thought it would be a challenge. I grew up in England and read American comics, so I was very familiar with Stan Lee. I had seen him many times in his own comics. So I was very...impressed. When I met with Mr. Nagahama, he spoke very passionately about the project, and I knew this was going to be a very good one.
I am very honored and happy to have been chosen to write the music for THE REFLECTION. I hope you enjoy the music as much as I enjoyed writing it. Please listen to the music. It's very cool.
I am really looking forward to going back to Japan. I am really looking forward to playing in Japan with my band.
