Masterpiece special effects drama "The Return of Ultraman" to begin airing in HD remastered version on July 22 on Family Theater!

The classic tokusatsu drama from the past, "The Return of Ultraman HD Remastered Edition," will begin regular broadcast on CS broadcasting Family Theater on July 22, 2017 (Sat).



Ultraman: The Return of Ultraman" is the fourth installment of the "Imaginary Special Effects Series," which was revived two years and seven months after the previous "Ultra Seven" finished airing. The first broadcast was in 1971. A young man, Hideki Go, loses his life trying to save a child and a puppy from a monster. Ultraman, moved by his courage, becomes one with him and vows to fight with him. Hideki joins the Monster Attack Team (MAT) and grows up cooperating with his friends, sometimes clashing with them. This ambitious film has a strong tinge of human drama and has reached a technical stability.

The HD remastered version will be broadcast for the first time on CS Basic.

The first series, "Ultra Q HD Remastered Version," will begin broadcasting on July 21 (Fri.), and "Ultraman HD Remastered Version" and "Ultra Seven HD Remastered Version" are currently being broadcast regularly.
