The summer anime "Welcome to the Classroom of Ability Supremacy," which will start airing on July 12, has released new information including scene photos and synopsis of the first episode, information on the OP theme song, and a commemorative distribution event to celebrate the start of the broadcast.

Welcome to the Classroom of Ability Supremacy" is a light novel by Akio Kinugasa, creator of the hit games "Dawn Guard" and "Reminiscence," and popular illustrator Shunsaku Tomose. Set in a prestigious school that is one of the best in the country and places almost 100% of its students in the schools of their choice for higher education and employment, the story centers on the main character, Kiyotaka Ayakoji, who for some reason cuts corners in the entrance examination and is assigned to class D, the bottom class, where defective students are yelled at and told to gather.　The OP theme song will be sung by ZAQ and the ED theme song by Minani.

Kiyotaka Ayanokoji enters Tokyo Metropolitan High School for Advanced Education, a school with a 100% advancement rate and employment rate.
However, the first-year D class to which he belongs is full of problem children who would hardly be considered a school of higher learning.
The school is a laissez-faire school that gives students 100,000 yen worth of points per month, the equivalent of cash, and tolerates private talk, nodding off, and sabotage in class. The students lead self-indulgent lives, but there is one person who feels a sense of discomfort: Suzune Horikita, a beautiful girl who thoroughly avoids interaction with others and maintains her solitude.
She notices that although the students are supposed to be given large sums of money, there are many "reliefs for those who have no money" provided within the school.
Eventually, a month later, Ayakoji, Horikita, and the D class learn the truth about the school system. ......
