A screening with a stage greeting of "Escacron," an original anime project by Seiji Mizushima (General Director), Tatsuya Takahashi (Screenplay), and Toru Mizunashi (Character Design), was held on Saturday, July 15, at Marunouchi Piccadilly 2, Tokyo.

Escacron" is a reading play performed at the event "'D-World' vol. 0" held at Hitotsubashi Hall on July 10, 2016. The heartwarming story of two girls, Esca and Kron, who come from a monochrome apocalyptic world where nothing exists, is performed by Chika Asai as Esca, a beautiful girl with long hair and clear eyes that give off a somewhat mysterious atmosphere, and by Kiyoeno Yasuno as Kron, who has a bright smile full of energy and charm. Kiono Anno plays the role of Kron, who is full of energy and has a bright smile.

The anime adaptation was announced last October, with Seiji Mizushima of "Mobile Suit Gundam 00" as the general director, Hikaru Yamaguchi, who worked on "Gintama" and "Osomatsu-san" as the director, Tatsuya Takahashi of "THE IDOLM@STER/CINDERELLA GIRLS" as the script writer, Toru Minazuki of "ToHeart" as the original character designer, and character design by Aikatsu! Character design is by Toru Minazuki of "Aikatsu! Animation is produced by RALKE.

On July 15 (Sat), a screening with a stage greeting was held at Marunouchi Piccadilly in Tokyo, where Ms. Yasuji, Mr. Yasuno, Director Hikaru Yamaguchi, and General Director Seiji Mizushima appeared on stage. The official report has arrived.

OVA "Escacron" Screening with Stage Greeting
On Saturday, July 15, 2017, a screening with a stage greeting of the OVA "Escacron" was held at Marunouchi Piccadilly 2. This work is a heartwarming story about two girls, Esca and Kron, who come from a post-apocalyptic world covered in deep snow. This project has been developed into a music video, a reading play, and now an anime. At the event, the first and second episodes of the OVA were screened, and a stage greeting was given by Chika Asai (Esca), Kiyono Yasuno (Cron), Director Hikaru Yamaguchi, and General Director Seiji Mizushima. This article reports on the day's events.

Surprise after surprise!　The staff and voice actors spoke passionately about their ambitions and secret production stories!

　Shortly after the screening, Mr. Yasuji, Ms. Yasuno, and General Director Mizushima took the stage. They greeted the audience one by one with a big round of applause. Note that Ms. Yasuno, who appeared with a side pony in keeping with the Cron, mentioned that Ms. Yasui looked like Saito Shiori, the guest character in the second episode of the day. However, in the same vein, she revealed that she had been talking backstage with Director Yamaguchi, who was originally supposed to be a surprise guest, and all the speakers gave her a hard time. Unfortunately, the surprise failed ......, but Director Yamaguchi took the stage holding a cake with the key visual on it!　Since July 9 is Yasuno's birthday, the entire audience sang "Happy Birthday" to celebrate. The surprise after surprise brought a happy and embarrassed smile to Ms. Yasuno's face.
　About six years have passed since the project started. The staff and voice actors spoke with great emotion about the episodes that led up to the OVA, starting with the music video. In July, exactly one year ago, a reading performance was held at the "D-World" vol. 0 label event, and Mr. Anzai and Ms. Yasuno talked about their memories of the reading performance.
　This is the third time the film has been screened, following "Machi★Asobi" in May and "Desucon 2017" in Finland in June. Director Mizushima, who was on site for the "Desucon 2017" screening, provided an update on the screening and the audience's reaction.

　In addition, Director Yamaguchi and Director Mizushima shared behind-the-scenes stories about the production of the film. The audience was excited to hear that the work was completed two days before "Machi★Asobi" and that the ED, which Director Yamaguchi worked on alone, was actually drawn in two days while the second episode was also being produced.

　There was one change between the content of the "Machi★Asobi" screening and the content of this year's show. The end cards have been added to the film!　The end card depicted a scene of a guest character that was not seen in the film. Incidentally, since end cards are rarely seen in OVAs, some of the speakers voiced their strong desire for a TV broadcast of the film.

　Some also expressed a desire for the release of a CD featuring related songs. Currently, the second episode's insert song, "Puzzled Train," is scheduled to be included as a bonus track on Yasuno's first mini-album "Tears," which will be released on July 26 (Wed.). However, other songs are still undecided. But the rest of the songs are still undecided. The heat was turned up as the speakers spoke one after another of their grand ambitions, including new episodes of crowdfunding, the production of new songs, and live performances and release events by the voice actors!　The talk was filled with expectations for the yet-unseen future of "Escaclone".

　The speakers seemed to have more to say, but unfortunately, the time had come to end the event. The stage greeting ended with messages from Yasuzane-san, Yasuno-san, Director Yamaguchi, and General Director Mizushima.

Mr. Yasuzai
Escaclone was a work that had been languishing for many, many years, but with everyone's help, it has become a mature content. Last year, I was moved just by being able to express the feelings of the girls in words at the reading performance, but this time, through the animation and music, the world of "Escacron" is finally coming into clear view, and I am very happy about it. I hope to share this with many more people, so I would be very happy if you could spread the word through word of mouth and other means. If you think you would like to see "Escacron" again, please share your feelings with us, and we will be very happy to hear from you. Mr. Yasuno
It has only been a year since we decided to make an anime, but the fact that "Escacron," which had been languishing for about five years, was made into an OVA was a miracle that we could not have imagined not so long ago. As I'm sure you all felt when you saw it, it was really carefully made. With the involvement of many staff members and the music team, we were able to create a wonderful animation, wonderful music, and a wonderful work of art.

With the support of many people, and with Mr. Mizushima's constant prodding and prodding, I am very happy to have made it to this day. I think the fact that I was able to work with two cast members who are close to my age was also a factor in my enjoyment of working with them.
