The TV anime "Yuri! on ICE," which aired in the fall of 2016, will be screened in 4DXR at theaters nationwide from September 23 (Sat).



Yuri! on ICE" is the first ever full-fledged male figure skating anime. It depicts the Grand Prix series in which skaters from various countries compete against each other in heated competitions, with cliffhanger skater Yuri Katsumo as the main character. Manga artist Mitsuro Kubo, who created "MOTEKI," and anime director Sayo Yamamoto, who worked on "MICHIKO and HACCHIN" and "LUPIN the Third: The Woman Named Fujiko Mine," teamed up to create the original story. The character design is by Teishi Hiramatsu. Character design by Sadafumi Hiramatsu, figure skating choreography by Kenji Miyamoto, and production by MAPPA, the series aired from October to December 2016 on TV Asahi, BS Asahi, etc.

The first volume of the Blu-ray & DVD has shipped about 83,000 units.
