From the TV anime "Made in Abyss" currently airing, the synopsis and scene photos of episode 3 "Departure" have been released.

Made in Abyss" isa manga series byAkihito Tsukushi on the web comic site "Comic Gamma" (#).The story is set in the Abyss, a huge cavern with no known end, and Oath, a town built on the edge of the cavern. The story warmly depicts the adventures of Riko, a girl who aspires to become a great "explorer" like her mother. The animation staff includes Masayuki Kojima, director of "Black Bullet," Hideyuki Kurata of "DRIFTERS" for series composition, and Kazuya Kise of "Ghost in the Shell: ARISE ALTERNATIVE ARCHITECTURE" (general director and character designer) for character design, Animation production is by Kinema Citrus.
