An interview with the original author, Arii-san, was held on July 12 (Wed.) at the "Cat Cafe MoCHA Mocha Lounge Ikebukuro East Exit Store" in Ikebukuro, Tokyo.

She said, "I can't wait to go home and nuzzle my face into my cat's tummy," and her love for her cat seemed to have increased.

He also revealed that, since this work is a spin-off of "Hitori Jime Boyfriend" and will be adapted into an anime, fans had been asking if episodes related to "Hitori Jime Boyfriend" would also be depicted in the anime. In answer to this question, he mentioned that the story of Kensuke and Shikura will also be depicted in the first episode, something he had wanted to say but could not before the anime aired.

As for the opening theme "Heart Signal" sung by Wataru Hatano, the melody line is easy to understand, catchy, and ear-catching, and he felt that the song fits the anime well.

Furthermore, Mr. Arii happily commented that the opening was drawn by picking up motifs from his own color illustrations, and that the animation was created based on the detailed atmosphere of the song.
