TV anime "Mazinger Z" Blu-ray box containing all 92 episodes is now available in three volumes! Robot Girls Z Full Combo Blu-ray" will also be released!

The Blu-ray box set of the TV anime "Mazinger Z," renowned as the pioneer of robot animation, will be released in three volumes. The first volume, "Mazinger Z Blu-ray BOX VOL.1" will be released on December 6, 2017 (Wednesday).

Mazinger Z" is a manga serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) by Go Nagai in 1972, and can be said to be the originator of the combined/riding giant robot anime that depicts the activities of Mazinger Z, a giant robot with a variety of weapons and overwhelming strength, and its pilot, Kouji Kabuto. The TV animation series broadcast in the 1970s recorded the highest viewer rating of 30.4%, and has gained a large number of fans around the world. In January 2017, the production of an animated movie "Mazinger Z the Movie (tentative title)" was announced, and it is scheduled to be released on January 13, 2018 (Saturday).

In commemoration of the release of "Mazinger Z the Movie (tentative title)," an animation film that marks the 50th anniversary of Go Nagai's painting career, it has been decided that all 92 episodes of the TV series will be released on Blu-ray for the first time in a three-volume Blu-ray box set. The video footage is a "Negascan HD remastering" in which the negative film was directly scanned and converted to data (the video extras were up-converted from SD material and converted to the latest HD format), allowing viewers to enjoy this timeless masterpiece in ultra-high resolution. The "HD Remaster" (*Video extras are upconverted from SD material and converted to the latest HD format).

In addition, to commemorate the release of the animated film "Mazinger Z the Movie (tentative title)," a series of past super robots including "Mazinger Z," "Great Mazinger," and "Grendizer" created by Go Nagai will be made into girls (anthropomorphic beautiful girl characters), and hot special moves such as "Rocket Punch "Rocket Punch" and other hot special move battles x Bishojo anime staples such as mini-skirts, swimsuits, and outdoor baths...
