The battle comes back to life as a hanging scroll! From the Ultraman series comes a hanging scroll commemorating the 50th anniversary of the series' first broadcast!

Pre-orders for the official "Ultraman Series 50th Anniversary Hanging Scroll" have begun at Bandai's official mail-order site, Carddas Shop.

Ltd. has started accepting reservations for the " Ultraman Series 50th Anniversary Hanging Scroll " (39,800 yen including tax / excluding shipping and handling fees) at "Carddas Shop," Bandai's official mail order site.

The "hanging scroll" features an ink painting of Ultraman and Baltan the Martian in combat pose, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Ultraman series.

The Ultraman series is one of Japan's leading special effects hero programs produced by Tsuburaya Productions, which has continued as a series since its broadcast in 1966. The first "Ultraman" was broadcast from July 17, 1966 to April 9, 1967 for a total of 39 episodes. And now, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Ultraman series, a hanging scroll depicting "Ultraman" and "Baltan Alien" was created based on the first "Ultraman".

The original drawings were done by Mr. Hakudo, a Japanese-style painter who creates realistic works in ink and wash painting.
The Ultraman figure is depicted in his well-known fighting pose with the beautiful Mt. Fuji in the background, while the Baltan aliens are depicted with their arms outstretched in a provocative manner, with a touch full of vitality that makes them sound as if they are about to cry out "fofofofofo" at any moment. By displaying both works side by side, a powerful confrontation scene unfolds before the viewer's eyes.
As this is a commemorative work of a hero whom Mr. Shiromichi himself admired, his feelings and passion seem to be conveyed through the work.

The work was tailored by a first-class omofuso technician who has worked on numerous works of art.
The project has been underway as a member of the project since its inception, with the desire to respect the 50-year history of the project and create the best work possible. The master craftsman himself has been a member of the project since its inception, with a desire to create the best work of art in honor of the 50 years of history of the company.

In addition, to ensure that the scrolls can be stored for many years to come, they are stored in a paulownia wood box, which is resistant to corrosion and has an anti-moth effect. The scrolls are also delivered in a special storage box.
The paulownia box is inscribed with the calligrapher's handwritten inscription, "Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Broadcast of the Ultraman Series," and a certificate with a seal of approval is affixed as proof of authenticity. The box can be stored in a box and kept in one's possession to enjoy its never-fading beauty forever.

Delivery of the product is scheduled for October 2017. The pre-order will be closed when the prepared quantity is reached, so please make your reservation as soon as possible.
