OLDCODEX's first arena show is coming! Lottery advance registration starts at MOBILE MEMBER'S!
OLDCODEX, a rock unit consisting of vocalist Ta_2 and painter YORKE., will hold its first arena concert in 2018.
OLDCODEX is an artist who has been creating visually pleasing works with a mix of rock, loud, and dance sounds and art, taking advantage of the unique combination of vocalist Ta_2 and Painter YORKE. Their 4th album, "Fixed Engine," released last year, reached No. 3 on the Oricon Weekly Chart, and their popularity continues to soar, with their 5th album, "they go, where?
On the day of the album release, live concert information was also released.
In addition to the OLDCODEX Tour 2017 "they go, Where?", which will start in September with 15 shows in 12 locations nationwide, the band announced on its official website that arena shows will be held in 2018.
The two shows, at the World Hall in Hyogo and the Yokohama Arena in Kanagawa, will be the first arena shows for OLDCODEX, and the decision to hold arena shows for the first time is sure to be a hot topic.
OLDCODEX held their first Budokan concert in 2015, and this year, 2017, they successfully held their third Budokan in Japan, attracting attention for their solo performances overseas and live event appearances. They are also scheduled to perform at a number of summer festivals, including ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2017, RISING SUN ROCK FESTIVAL 2017 in EZO, and SUMMER SONIC 2017.
The announcement of the arena concert comes amidst the growing interest in their live activities in recent years, and one cannot take one's eyes off their future activities.
The arena show is currently open to OLDCODEX MOBILE MEMBER'S ( # ) who will be able to apply for the advance tickets by lottery until August 27 (Sun.) at 23:59.
