Popular Juvenile RPG "Persona 5" to be adapted into a TV anime! Teaser visual and PV have been released!

Persona 5, the latest installment in the popular juvenile RPG "Persona" series, will be adapted into a TV anime series in 2018.




Persona 5" is the latest in the popular RPG "Persona" series for PlayStation 3/4, released by Atlus in September 2016. Set in the metropolis of Tokyo, the game depicts the main characters as high school students going about their daily lives, but at night after school, they are active in the dark as phantom thieves.

At the "PERSONA5 the Animation -THE DAY BREAKERS-" special event "Junko Leblanc Attic Strategy Meeting" held at Katayanagi Arena (Ota-ku, Tokyo) on July 30, 2017, it was announced that "Persona 5" will become a TV anime series in 2018. The main cast, which is of interest, will continue from the game version. It was also revealed that A-1 Pictures, which has been in charge of animation for many "Persona" series, will be producing the series. A teaser visual and a teaser PV have also been released.
