Pre-order of "Denshi Sentai Denziman Denzi-Ring Die-cast Swing" has started at Bandai's official mail order site "Gashadepa".

Ltd. has started taking reservations for " Denshi Sentai Denziman Denziling Diecast Swing" (5,400 yen including tax, shipping and handling fee not included) at Bandai's official mail order site "Gashadepa".

This die-cast swing is based on the transformation item "Denji Ring" from the fourth Super Sentai series, "Denshi Sentai Denziman. This is the first commercialization of the transformation item in Super Sentai.

The prototype was created with reference to valuable materials of the time. The figure has been carefully sculpted to look exactly as it was used in the movie.

The product is scheduled to be delivered in January 2018.

Interview with the developer

How did you come to develop this product?

The biggest reason was the high demand from our customers. We had received comments about "Denzi-Ring" in product surveys for other squadron items, etc., and we wanted to take on the challenge! I thought it was a good idea. However, since we have not been able to develop many Sentai items from the 70s and 80s recently, I was hesitant at times, but I thought, "If Bandai has not commercialized it before, then let's do it! I was determined to do it, and submitted it to an internal planning meeting!

What were some of the challenges you faced in product development, and what were some of the things you had to be careful about?

We had the most difficulty in finding materials for denziling. We consulted with various publishers and asked them to pull out magazines and other materials from the time "Denziman" was broadcast, and we just looked everywhere.

For some reason, however, I could not find any materials on Denziling (laughs). (Laughs.) Since we could not make a prototype without the materials, I seriously wondered if we would have to make the prototype while watching the video, but in the end we were able to find it, which was a great relief.

What is the point that you would like customers to pay attention to?

We would like our customers to pay attention to the reproducibility!

Do you have any plans to commercialize other tokusatsu hero transformation items or other items like this in the future?　Also, if you have any wishes for such items that you would like to commercialize, please let us know them as well.

I personally hope to develop items and robots from Super Sentai in the 70s and 80s that have not yet been commercialized!
